About
The 3D Scanner is a project here at Halifax West High School. The main goal of this project is to create a life-size 3D Scanner using Raspberry Pi’s. This will allow us to scan large objects and put them into 3D files which can be printed by a 3D printer.
The Students who are participating in this project are members of our Raspberry Pi Programming Club as well as students from our Applied Networking 11, Exploring Technology 10, Electrotechnologies 11 and Design Technology 11 classes.
This is a one of a kind experimental learning opportunity for students to collaborate, design, program, construct and network Raspberry Pi’s to make a high-tech 3D Scanner.
